Thumbs down Help: AVIC-X920BT and PAC SWI-PS (steering wheel controls) lost cruise control

2005 G35x Sedan

So I replaced my "old skool" AVIC-N1 with an X920BT today. Pretty sweet headunit if I do say so myself

Did run into somewhat of a major problem though. I hooked up a PAC audio SWI-PS to retain my steering wheel controls. It works PERFECTLY minus one small thing....

My cruise control stopped working! When I press the on/off button I see the green light on the dash light up (like it is on) but when I press set accel, resume, cancel, etc. nothing happens. It will not "cruise" when in cruise control.

Anyone have similar problems? Do you think it is a SWI-PS programming problem or a wiring problem?

Thanks!

-SF

Not the SWI-PS programming or wiring's fault.

From the FSM:
When one of steering wheel audio control switches is pressed to volume up, seek up, or mode ON, the resistance
in steering wheel audio control switch circuit changes depending on which button is pressed. This will
change the output voltage.
Power is supplied
 from audio unit terminal 22
through combination switch (spiral cable) terminals 24 and 20
to steering wheel audio control switch.
Ground is supplied
from steering wheel audio control switch
through combination switch (spiral cable) terminals 17 and 31
 to audio unit terminal 25.
When one of steering wheel audio control switches is pressed to volume down, seek down or power ON,
resistance in steering wheel audio control switch circuit changes depending on which button is pressed. This
will change the output voltage. Power is supplied
 from audio unit terminal 23
through combination switch (spiral cable) terminals 32 and 16
to steering wheel audio control switch.
Ground is supplied
from steering wheel audio control switch
through combination switch (spiral cable) terminals 17 and 31
 to audio unit terminal 25.
So it's more likely you blew a fuse or did something bad to the wiring underneath the dash while routing wires.

It fixed itself somehow. Dunno. I leave this one up to the car gods.

I had checked the fuses and the wiring, seemed copacetic.

Thanks for the help though!!!!
