New double din install.... awesome....

Hello everyone: just had a p3200dvd installed in my 03 g35 sedan. Looks factory and sounds awesome. Parts used: Pioneer 3200dvd, Metra turbo Kit, Infinity Kappa 6.5 Fronts and Infinity 5.25 rears. I played with the EQ a bit and sound even better. I will be using an SPL to calibrate all speakers. I want to thank Wrathernaut for his help and his posts. I've been learning a lot about the g's at this site. Will post pics soon.. Stay tuned. dirrtydog....

As i never installed speakers into the G before. Did you just use the stock wiring into the new speakers but you still ran RCA wires from the headunit into aftermaket amp right to power up the speakers.

installed the p3200 with kappas using the bose amp. Had to put an adapter from radio to amp. Thats what I will use for now til i have enough flow to finish with aftermarket amp and one 10" sub....sounds nice....I was able to upload pics of the install at the garage section....

You can link to those pics in the garage, like this:

As I told you in the PM, but for others to read, the systems going to sound several orders of magnitude better once you replace the Bose amp.

The Bose AMP i think is the worse part of the whole sound system lol.

^ worst part, but not as prone to failure as the headunit, so not really the "best" to replace. And it's no LOL'ing matter.

Looks great! I can't wait to change out my OEM unit with a new double din. By the way what percent of tint is that?

Don't know the % of the tints. I bought the car with the tints already installed. The rear is darker than the front. Leads me to believe that they might be stock....
