Am I missing something? Please help me out...:(
Hi, so I was planning on getting something like this -->http://www.g35parts.com/G35-iPod-Fac...999u7-ipod.htm (Quickest link I could find) and I took out the liner in my trunk just to see what the conector looks like (I was sure I had it)..but i didnt find any conectors or anything...am i looking in the wrong place? i thought if you have the sat button then you have the conector... here are a few pics of what i found.
Sat button
Bose if that changes anything
...
only wire back thr...
and its a 2003.5 so no doggy door
Sorry for such a noob post but im curious...and if i cant use the sat ipod integration then what can i use? thats still "hardwired"

It took me about 1.5hrs. It was my first time too..
I had to remove the panels on the floor, under the steering wheel, the radio, clock, and glove box. Its not as hard as it sounds.. Just be patient when your doing it..
I chose this route because I didnt want to run wires from the trunk to the center console of the car using the Ipod adapter that connects to the SAT receiver.
Look around this forum and you will see how to remove the panels to be able to get access to the back of the stock head unit.

That's not it, it should have about 8 wires on it (four audio channels, ground, two data lines, data ground and a "REQ" line.
The 03 and 04 service manuals don't seem to have anything about the satellite other than what pins go into the factory headunit. No location info. It's not until the 2006 service manual that they even show where the satellite radio antenna is.
