We just installed an Alpine IVA-W505 (new) in my G and ran into an issue.

Only the Volume and Open buttons are working. Others and touch screens gives off beeping sound as if it's in some kind of "lock" mode.

Can some expert chime in on how should we solve this?

Problem found. It was because of the Interrupt being connected to the NAV signal out that caused the screen to lock up.

I'd recommend adding the Alpine KCE-422i High Speed cable to it. The sound quality is much better and cleaner than the ipod cable that comes with the deck.
