Nav position way off
Nav position way off
I apologize if this has been asked before (I searched, honest).
I was in Chicago today and my factory nav system, well, got lost. Luckily, I knew the way anyway. As I merged onto I90/94, as instructed, the system didn't register that I had actually gotten onto the highway. It spent the next 30 minutes furiously giving directions down side streets miles away from my actual position.
So, the question is; Is there a way to make the system re-assess your position while in motion?

Maybe moving to the middle lane to shift it further from where it has chosen side streets over the highway when it has an ambiguous signal. Otherwise, no way. It's a lot better if you're not amongst tall buildings.
