Im installing my DD kit I got today, The instructions are straight forward except I have no idea what any wire does, I have read all the wire diagrams I Could find but my brain shuts down when I look at em. Any help would be great!

 

Wires on both harnesses have either tags on them, or writing on the wires.

Most match color-for-color and word-for-word, the exception being for the antenna amplifier (and the audio amplifier, if you have bose).

 

please tell me you bought either a metra or Schoshe radio harness

Its pretty simple. i like to work on the harness either on a work bench or the kitchen table.

much better than in a car.

as stated its all color coded, take your time and double check your wires.

which part are you having problems with?

radio harness?

ac controls?

 

If you got problems with connecting a/c controls, you got serious problems.

And kitchen counter soldering bench FTMFW! (I can't wait to have my own garage with a real tool bench though).

 

If you have the wiring diagrams, just keep focussed and do one wire at a time. Keep track of the colors and stripes on each one, and you'll do fine.
