Subwoofer Foam Torn

I have a JL Audio 10w6v2 and the foam surrounding the sub is torn. I've read that "Gorilla Glue" or "Rubber Cement" is a great solution but I'm just looking for better options. Anyone have experience with this?

Better option = Buy a new sub.

or

Pay almost the same price as the sub would normally cost new and have it sent to a speaker company and get it rebuilt.

Thats what I am trying to avoid. So no glue or foam kit can bring it back to life again?

you can use epoxy if the tear isnt to big

take your time and try to make it look good

ive done it numerous times

they make kits for this kinda thing

The tear is basically around the whole sub. Parts express doesn't have a kit or jl audio

True. Forgot about JL being that type of company

Best best is to find some kinda glue or epoxy that will work with foam.

I think I even used some that was made for platic. Worked fine and is still holding up fine
