Another AUX Question

Hi all,
So just bought my first G35 (and first car for that matter) a while ago. Got tints today and next think I'm looking to is to get an AUX input for my MP3 player.
I've searched the forums and have found many threads and whatnot but my question is this:
I don't need an iPod connector, since I don't have an iPod. Does some product exist, and will it be any cheaper, that only has AUX input? Or does everything just come 'standard' with iPod cables?
The same guys that did my tint quoted $300 for parts and installation for iPod/AUX connector. I'm sure if I find the right part I can do it on my own. Oh, it's an 06 G35x, Bose system but without satellite radio (no SAT button).
Quick search on the USA SPEC site leads me to this as being the right part for my car: http://usaspec.com/product.php?ProductID=57, but once again wondering if there's anything cheaper without the iPod.
Thanks

Just do a wired FM modulator. ~ $60.

No, it's not a little transmitter, those suck for quality.

Wired ones sound as good as FM can ever sound.

Search on "wired fm modulator" and you'll find my posts with links to what parts you need.

Ok, I found one of your posts where u said the quality with the wired FM mod. is 4/5, and a USA SPEC unit as 5/5. The FM modulator won't give me CD (or, high MP3 quality) playback will it? Quality is important for me so if it's a matter of $60 for the modulator and ~$150 for the USA SPEC I'd rather go with the more expensive option.
Just realized the direct link doesn't work. PA15-INFI is what I need, right?

Yeah, there's more dynamic range in the line inputs from a PA15-INFI than there is in the FM band, so there's a little better sound quality.

Amazon Amazon

Cool, thanks a lot!
And I should be able to use this tutorial to install yea? http://www.myg35mods.com/tutorials/ipod/index.html
EDIT: final question, lol. Would the Nissan version work as well? I was looking on the Canadian Amazon site and they don't have the Infiniti version but do have PA15-NIS.

The difference bewtween the NIS and INF is the nis plugs in at the radio. The INF plugs in at back plug. A tutorial for removing the headunit which there are a couple of in my shopping sticky will probably be the best help for the INF.

Don't know what year you have, but I think that guide you linked should be fine if you have a 05+

you can find a usa spec for little over a $100 online. i think that's the best route. has AUX and doesn't hurt to have an ipod cable. better sound than fm modulator.
