You need to figure out what you want to spend.

 

Get a budget. Once you have the budget, come back with the amount and we'll be able to help you a LOT more. If you don't have a budget you have a tendency to shortchange something in the system.

A $700 woofer in a $50 enclosure? Yeah, that's what happens when you make your budget up as you go, and then you wonder why the guy with a $180 woofer and a real enclosure gets higher quality bass than you do...


I've got an X910BT (F90BT w/3.0 upgrade). If you want navigation and iPod voice control *and* you're willing to live with the quirks of it, it's a good unit. The 4200DVD is better at everything, but it doesn't have iPod voice control or navigation.

If you're after voice control and navigation in a Pioneer unit, and you're not broke, get the X920BT. If you don't want voice control but DO want navigation, buy a garmin and the 4200DVD.

I have upgrade my 6x9 for infinity kappas and planning to upgrade the front speakers for components speakers so ill go over the budget a little.....

 

The 10w3 is a waste of money.

My ears already hurt. 10w3 is a decent lil sub...if it were 90 bucks.

 

yea I heard infinity speakers are a bit too bright idk. But why hasn't anyone reccomended an alpine type r. for 115 shipped on OCS you can't go wrong and in that price range it'll spank anything else.

Type-R are ok price/performance-wise. I'd still step up to a higher sq sub though.

 

I actually need 2 tens that must be off OCS. What would u reccomend? 300 dollar total budget for the two tens.

maybe if you want a huge base but i dont...i`m not 16 anymore, i want something that i can hear for a while and not boder anyone else....if you want some more base sure go with the 10w6......is just no my preference......

 

Quite the opposite my friend.

The w6 is a pure sq sub that's meant to blend in with your front stage.

The w3 is more suited toward spl.
