What SQ sub?
Hi all,
I will be putting together my system in a week or so and I have two old RF punch rfp1810 10" subs in a sealed box..
I was thinking what would be a good SQ sub? Prefferably a 10"
Here's what I have:
Focal polyglass 165 vr components
Boston Acoustics sc65 for rear panel
Thanks for you inputs!

I'm not using the v2, I'm using the original W6. I used to have a 10W6v2 though in my old car. They are probably in my opinion one of the best all around 10" subs you can buy. Another one to look at is the Polk Audio SR10. I switched back and forth with it and the W6v2 in my car before my G about every month and was very impressed with it as well. It got louder then the W6 but seemed to be a little muddy and not as articulate.
How much wattage will you have available?

Everyone praises the IDQ10, but one of the DIYMA admins did a full comparison with the Sundown SA-10, and the SA-10 came out with better accuracy, for about $50 less.
I love my JL 10w6v2, but I don't try and fool myself into thinking it's the best for the money, or best even, it's just a very good sub that's expensive.
