6 channel amp recommendations?
Hello, I was hoping for some help picking a 6 channel amp.
Currently I am running a 10w6v2 in a 4080 and kicker QS components running off a kicker zx700.5 amp. Sounds pretty good but I'd like to swap out the rest of my speakers. I was thinking CDT 6x9 woofers in rear for midbass an was looking for a recommendation on a 6.5 for the rear (could I fit another set of QS components?) and even more importantly a suggestion for a 6 channel amp to power all the speakers. I have a JL 500/1 to power the sub. I am considering JL XD600/6, G6600, but am not stuck on JL and am open to any advice really...
Thanks in advance for your help

Any reason u want more speakers? less= more in car audio. If you want more midbass, seal up your doors. If you've done that already, get a better pair of comps.
Looking at your kicker amp, it does 70 x 4. So you're comps are seeing about 25w each(crossover sucks up some power, too). I would seal up the doors and see how they perform.

I have both of my doors completely done in dynamat extreme. Also, my components are bi-ampable. So I currently have 2 channels running to each. All of the rears are just disconnected.
Don't get me wrong, it sounds really good, WAY better than stock, but, if there is anything I can add to make it even better, I am willing...

Big perks in the X920BT are voice control of iPod and navigation, and a better interface all around as well.
6160/7160's got Garmin inside.
What it just comes down to is, do you want the maps interface to be better, or everything else to be better? I use iPod about 99% of the time I'm in the car. Navigation... uh... maybe 1%?
Looking up a little info on the Kicker Z8, they show it as working with line and speaker-level inputs, but nothing about differential-balanced inputs. Are you using the signal before or after the Bose amp?
If you're in front of it, the differential-balanced signal may be the problem, if you're after it, the horrible EQ from the Bose amp is probably screwing it up.
