Re: HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS!
Follow-up question.....
If the stock speaker setup already sounds crappy with the stock Bose amp, why would you want to put more power into those POS stock speakers? ...louder crappy sound?
Remember that the stock speakers are the limiting factor in our stock stereo sound quality, not the amp or the Clarion HU. The HU is pretty decent (I guess) and the amp is an amp. IMO, adding a decent aftermarket amp into the stock configuration will probably result in more muffled highs and inaccurate booming lows......probably.

Not necessarily. If you insert an aftermarket amp, that means you can also insert an EQ, and cross the speakers over to play only certain frequencies (particularly helpful if you're adding a sub). The end result is significiantly improved sound, versus leaving the Bose to power the stock speakers.
That said, I highly recommend replacing at least the front speakers. They have poor high frequency response.

Yeah, replace the fronts. I recently purchased the Infiniti Perfect's and cant wait to put them in. I have heard that just upgrading those components with the stock amp will still make a world of difference as far as sound goes.

Re: HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS!
Sorry guys I should have explained a bit more, I have upgrades my front door speakers along with the tweeters with
the Infinity ref series with the crossovers ( about year ago), I just took a look at that bose amp and thought that I would get better sound by driving those front door speakers with 2 channel amp of better quality,( Infinity 7520A) The Bose amp is really small so those Infinity speakers are not being used to their full potential, and I'm the only driver..so has anybody done this..

Re: HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS!
I would leave the stock amp for the sub and back door speakers and just add the 2 channel amp to drive the front door speakers and should I be thrilled, happy, content, or
disappointed,,,
