Pioneer z120BT install

Pioneer z120BT install

Im a newbie hear and looking to install a double din radio in my 05 G35, i did at bit of homework on the forum and found i need the following;

1 JDM trim and ac control
2 easy connect wires(not sure of model needed)

am I missing anything here? Also I have the factory Bose system in, i read in some post that speakers were either low or could not here them ounce aftermarket radio was installed, can anyone shed light on this for me, also want to still have sterring wheel control to work. last but not least wiring harness model needed for install. I am installing the Pioneer z120BT.

With the JDM trim, i thought i read that there is some slight cutting needed for radio to fit thru opening, is this true.

Nope, no trimming of the JDM trim.

The universal trim ring does require trimming, but it's slight. A pair of scissors will do a fine job. The motorized face of the Z120 requires that you account for the movement when trimming the trim ring. I never got around to doing it on my Z110 before I had to go back to the desert, so I can't offer you a lot of help on the details of that. It's ok without the trim, but there's a bit of a gap that can be unsightly if you look closely, but most people won't notice it.
