stock stereo problem/question

I got an 05 G a couple months ago. I have Sirrius hooked up to it. My issue is that sometimes I think it doesn't sound that great and I push the button that scrolls through the trebble/bass. I normally keep the bass at 3 and trebble at 5.... When it sounds "not perfect" i push the bass up to 4 and back to 3, or down to 2 and back to 3. Same with the trebble up one, down one. Then my stereo sounds normal again. Is there something I am missing that would cause my stereo to stay in those settings? and why is it doing that?

Thanks in advance.

It is doing that because the stock radios suck. If that is all that is wrong with your stereo you should be happy. Seriously, use the search for stereo issues, you will find the stereos don't last long. If you cannot live with that annoyance you can shell out a bunch of money for another crappy OEM replacement that is likely to start doing weird random stuff too, or not work at all. Or you can shell out a bunch of $ for the Double Dinn dash kit and the aftermarket system of your choice. I'll trade you for my stock 03 system.

^^ I didn't know that. That sucks. I was hoping I just missed some feature or button to push. Thanks.
