Is there anyone currently distributing/carrying the supplies in the U.S. to convert to Double DIN?? Or does everything still have to be ordered from yosi in Japan??

I just had an Eclipse AVN 2454 installed in my sedan, so I had to go through the double DIN kit issue. You will find the occasional kit pop up in the classifieds section here, or even on eBay. But ordering through J's Garage in Japan was not that difficult. It only took me about 3 weeks from the very start of the process to actually receiving the packages.

The double DIN dash, and the A/C Controller are a must. I believe that you can re-use the existing aluminum bracket, but in my case I bought a new one [so you should confirm that re-use possibility]. If you are not going with a double DIN sized head unit, then you might also want to purchase either the cover or the cubby.
