Hey All,
Installed Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD double din with JDM 05-07 kit on my 2005 G35x NON-BOSE.
I used Wrathernaut's Double Din Shopping and Resource List, which was a great guide. Here is some extra tips regarding the Metra 70-7550 for all the NON-BOSE guys.
The Orange/Black is not listed on the wiring harness package but it is indeed a ground. I soldered it together with the Black/White Amp ground.

The blue and blue/white wire both need to be soldered together to the wired remote on the head unit harness. Also, add an additional lead if you want to add a relay.

Only need three wires for PAC SWI-PS: Black, Red, and White

I soldered the 47ohm and the 150 ohm resistors and added more wire for easier installation in the car. The white wiring coming out of the joint is misleading, it would be red but I didn't have any (to match the car wiring harness).
This is a relay I added...

Next:
Fitting/Modifying a Double Din Trim Ring
Running USB and RCA Inputs to Center Console with Female Connectors like the 2008+
Can I make use of the SAT radio wiring for a back up camera and amp?
Regards,
Russ

Thanks for the post. This is exactly what I am doing right now - wiring.
Now I got a question.
The Blue and Blue/White wires from the metra harness stand for Power Antenna and Remote Turn on (12V+), respectively. However the same wires from my head unit stand for P. ANT and P. CONT (what is this for?). Are you saying that I should solder them all together?
Since I don't have power antenna and remote start in my G35, I really don't know if it is necessary I have to use this blue and blue/white wires.
