Those any one know if I remove my factory bose amp. Will it kill my factory nav? I did a double din swap and I removed the amp and my navi won't work. been having this problem for months.

 

As far as I know, when you change the factory radio you lose your navigation voice. The maps should still work though. I think there is a way you can wire it to get the navigation voice back, but I don't know if there is a harness that supports that or not. Have to do some custom splicing somewhere I think...

 

The amp has nothing to do with factory voice, it's all in the headunit.

To have your voice work again, you have to get creative with a relay.

 

I mean like my whole navigation system wont work. It has been pitch black for months..... When I turn the car on and i see that the screen turns on but it stays black. I was thinking it was the antenna or the case where the nav cd goes.
