I have an 03 G35 coupe and am trying to figure out if I am pre-wired for Sirius. I've read several threads on this subject, but am a bit confused. According to my VIN, I am not pre-wired, but my stereo does have the SAT button. I've read some threads that say I am pre-wired b/c of the SAT button, but others indicate I'm not b/c my VIN is below a certain number. I need to buy the Sirius tuner, but am trying to figure out if I need an extra cable or other accessories. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

The best idea I can give you is check out your trunk.... Under the floor mat, pull the plastic panel up on the left (driver) side... there is all your wiring... See if you have an open Plug...

Too bad you are after Sirius... I just traded my G in yesterday and kept the XM box and harness.

 

I would like to know the same, I have n 03 coupe as well and will be leaving Hawaii soon and need to find out if I have Sat pre-wired or not. What are the vin's that do and do not? I do have the Sat button on my radio as well.

 

I cant remember the exact cut off, but the early 03's were the only ones not prewired. If you do a search here you should find your answer, thats how I found it several years back.

 

Thanks for the help. If I can get the same package on XM that I have on Sirius, then maybe I can use your box and harness. I'll check it out and let you know.
