Best iPod / Bluetooth Setup?

I'm struggling with the iSimple iPod and Bluetooth integration in my 09 G37x Journey. There is an issue with low volume, poor BT sound quality on the phone, etc. (See this post to read the saga: https://g35driver.com/forums/5656093-post47.html)

I'm starting to contemplate my options as a back-up plan if I end up ditching iSimple. Another dissapointed with iSimple is you can use the factor SAT radio (I don't use SAT but the next owner might). I here the USA Spec unit (which I believe interfaces with the SAT module in the trunk instead of plugging directly into the head unit, allows you to still use the factory SAT if you want.)

Here's what I want ideally - in a nutshellf, the closest I can get to the functionality of the Premium Package functionality.

I'm assuming I can't use the USA Spec iPod interace with the iSimple Bluetooth interface since the iSimple totaly cuts out the Sat interface (you disconnect the plug at the head unit that comes from the SAT unit in the trunk.)

So here's the bare essentials I need:

1. iPod interface that allows me to scroll through playlists, songs, artist on the head unit display.

2. When a call comes in, iPod playback stops, resumes after call ends.

That is the MUST haves. The WISH it has would include:

3. Incoming call number (and name if possible) appears on head unit display so no need to install separate screen for the BT hands free kit. (I could live with just putting my iPhone on a dash mount so I can see the screen)

4. The up down controls on the stereo go to next/previous tracks on the iPod (strangely the iSimple unit won't do this.)

5. Press some stock factory button somewhere to initiate voice dial for a call. I know this is probably no option as I think all the BT kits you need to install an aftermarket button to initiate the call. Right now I just press the button on the iPhone to do it.

Is my only option the USA Spec for iPod and the Parrot system for Bluetooth? I just don't know how well they will "play together." I'm cringing at forking out another $300 in install fees.
