I am debating on cutting a hold in the stock tweeter location to mount my existing tweeter there instead of just behind the normal grille. Just seems like half the tweeter is not being shown and Im thinking I am missing some sound. It might not look as good but Im guessing sounds better. Any ideas? Anyone ever try just cutting a hole out?

 

every tweeter needs to be installed in a different location

Some work well off axis in the a pillar

others work better on axis in the kick

etc etc

As far as the stock goes, imaging and tonality is pretty good for what it is.
