Finished Audio Upgrade with Stock HU

So I opted not to replace the stock head unit since I can pretty much get everything I want like navigation from my iPhone. Also I like that I already have bluetooth and the microphone is concealed. So here is what I ended up with...
  • PA15-NIS Ipod Adapter / ProClip Pass-Through Mount
  • Focal 165 A1 Components up front
  • Focal 165 CA1 to replace the 6.5's in the rear
  • Pioneer GM-D9500F Amp to power to Focals
  • Pioneer PRS-D1100M Sub Amp (I already had this powering a shallow mount sub in my previous car. It just so happens the power rating is perfect for the 10w6 I have been wanting to get.)
  • 10" JL Audio 10w6v2 / Wicked C.A.S. Box

Overall I think it sounds great. I'm sure there is more sound quality to be had with replacing the head unit, but for now I'm completely satisfied.

It sounds like it'll sound great up until the day your stock headunit goes out.

yup... i did mine the right way and my HU cd changer went dead, im actually tearing my dash up at the moment ready to install my DD kit. Good luck and great job by the way. I hooked up my amps using the Pac ROEM NIS1, straight plug and play and sounds great. Its for sale now by the way
