okay, so i feel pretty knowledgable after reading thru all these double din guide, resource lists, diys. I usually buy all my electronics from audio warehouse by me in jersey, got my avic x920bt for about 600 there. Problem is he only sells the metra kit, and ive heard bad things. Ive only found one place online with jdm trim for 140, ac controlls for 200 or a complete kit for 325 (best option), anyone know any other retail/wholesalers with this product for cheaper? im willing to spend the money if i have to, if i do it...gonna be done right. Id like to exhaust all options first. I had an 06 altima SER, was hit from behind and totalled which is why i am now driving a 2003 g35 sedan and having to install the avic920 a second time.

 

i just bought mine from sewell online. It was 270 plust 9 dollar shipping and tax for me in texas, which came out to 300 bucks shipped. Thats the cheapest ive found

 

If you send a private message to any of the people on my shopping list, they will almost assuredly beat $325.

 

i got 2 more questions for whoever can answer, will the dual zone climate AC controls work in an 03? and how do i know if i need black double din trim or the willow? in pictures the willow looks like it is the color, anywhere i can run the vin to see the color trim?

 

The dual climate controls can work on a 03. You have to desolder the button from the oem circuit board and re-solder it to the jdm ac control board. Then you have to move the button cover from the oem ac controls to the jdm. Here's the link to the DIY guide that show how to do this:

As for the color, I suggest getting the same color as the rest of your interior peices. I purchased mine from Riverside Infiniti (paid around $325 for trim and jdm ac controls) if you give them your vin, I believe they can verify the color.
