USAspec & iSimple (Peripheral Audio) iPod adapter for G35

***EDIT****

both items are now sold, sorry guys!

***********

Hey guys! i'm putting up both my ipod adapters for sale here. as many of you know i've gone through several iterations with my sound system and i no longer need these. the harness for the iSimple interferes with my parrot bluetooth harness and frankly i no longer need the USAspec because i have my parrot bluetooth system which plays my ipod and i also have my carputer for other music files.

both are in complete working condition. i will try finding the original packaging but i may be out of luck there. each will come with all the supplied wiring and parts, there is nothing needed for either. i know these work on several different years of the g35/37 so please go to the USAspec website or the iSimple website to check their datasheets so you can be sure it's compatible with your G. i have an 08, so it's obviously compatible with that model and the 07, also with the 08 G37. i recommend heading to discountcarstereo.com and looking it up there, it's fairly easy to access.

the part numbers i have are as follows:

iSimple (peripheral audio) gateway:
Connects behind headunit!
Module: PXAMG-NIS for 2004-2009 infiniti
Harness: PGHNI2 for 2004-2007 infiniti (it also fits 2008 g35)

USAspec gateway:
Connects in trunk at satellite module!
Module: PA15-INFI for 2003-2009 infiniti
Harness: CDL-NISx

each individually cost about $140 new so i am currently asking $100 for each one shipped (as in "i will pay the shipping for you"). if you want to make a different offer just PM me and we'll talk. if for some reason you really wanted to buy both of them we could talk a better deal. if you have any questions you are welcome to contact me here via PM and then we can email if necessary. i am a reputable seller on ebay and my name there is spastikjack6 if you want to look at my feedback.

i will only ship to north america and i only accept paypal. if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

Bob

edit*****

i'm including the links to the manufacturer's sites so you can check compatibility with your infiniti. please note that the harness i have for the iSimple (PGHNI2) is only compatible with certain infinitis so please look at those pages also to determine if you would need the PGHNI1 harness (which is $20, but i've seen it for $9 on amazon.com).

hey Cali, yes, i have all the wires but i have to double check where i put the instructions (although you can download them too). it's the gateway, the vehicle harness which connects to the satellite module and then the actual ipod adapter cable which gets run up to your seat.

i am little bit confused. I used to have usaspec 11 and i was able to install the unit behind the factory head unit on my 2006 g35. I am planning to install your unit in my 04 fx35.

you're correct the previous models would connect behind the head unit, however, the PA15-INFI needs to be connected at the satellite module in your trunk. it seems like you would actually need the PA15-NIS model, which has the correct harness for going in behind the radio.

you could always email their tech support and ask if you can still use my model but i honestly don't know off the top of my head if you can. i'm not sure why they changed the harness, maybe to make it easier to install or something. i'd like to believe though that you could since this is meant for the 04-09 infiniti's.

cali - ok so i checked online and you can actually use the iSimple gateway i have, if you're interested. it connects behind the head unit. however, you would need the PGHNI1 harness (i have the PGHNI2) which is $20 from the manufacturer. so if you're interested in that route i could cut you more of a deal on the iSimple.

otherwise i am still trying to determine the compatibility of the USAspec to your car, i'll keep looking...

Bob

edit*****

the USAspec site specifically says to use the NIS version of my gateway for your FX35, so that's a no go. i'm going to edit my 1st post on this thread to include the compatibility sheets from the manufacturers.

yeah unfortunately they haven't come up with a solution for the nav vehicles. although i've never researched it i gotta believe you could add the OEM interface on a nav vehicle....

dj - do you have bluetooth? have you tried just streaming your ipod that way? otherwise you may want to consider a parrot bluetooth system with an ipod adapter. the sound quality is phenomenal.
