got everything apart...

metra kit came with DD backets that snap to it....I put those on and screwed the DD receiver to it....snapped on the DD trim piece and it fits nicely....but cant get the factory metal bracket back onto the metra kit so I can reinstall it back in the car.....also on top where 2 screws go into the kit there are plastic nibs blocking it...I guess I just cut those off??

I tried NOT using the metra plastic bracket kit but the holes were not lining up at all...

ok ...just saw the plastic clip that came with the metra kit and screws in up by the clock....
