no sound from speakers, 2006 G35 sedan

Hi everyone. my speakers stopped working while I was driving. The headunit and all of its functions work, just no sound from the speakers. Is it possible this is a fuse? or could it be somthing more serious? Any help would be appreciated.

If you've got the bose system, I'd say it's the amp.

Well, it's definitely not a fuse, as the non-bose speakers run off the same power as the headunit.

This is the perfect excuse to upgrade to a new aftermarket system.

Started working again today when I started the car. Guess there might be a connection problem somewhere. Still new to infinite, last car was a WRX, but this is the first problem I have had. Thanks for the advice Wrathernaut

My driver side door speaker cuts in and out randomly a few times, then works fine most of the day, Bose system btw. Im thinking hopefully its a lose connection in the door.

Also could be a loose ribbon cable in the headunit. Way too many failures in these factory radios to even think of keeping them.

I am having a similar problem, but with the passenger side speaker. The odd thing is, I hear occasional static and crackling even when the radio/receiver unit is off. I am confused, since I thought there shouldn't be power to the speaker if the unit is off. It seems to be at its worst after cornering.
