All the threads I have read lurking all add up to $$$.
Whether getting the bose fixed, or replacing it - it is going to set me back a little.

I just got my 2004 G35 and the radio and cd player operate, but no sound - though when I hit the audio button to change bass and all, it beeps when I make adjustments - but no music.

What the heck does that mean? (aside from "time to upgrade")

I was hoping to keep the 6 disc changer and bose crap - does my radio have hope, or should I just expect to upgrade asap?

 

Just upgrade.

Any factory radio for an '04 is just about as old, so a replacement's due to fail anyway.
