I am selling my OEM ipod kit as I have traded in my G. This works with all 2003.5+ G35's. It has worked great for me, it utilizes the steering wheel controls and can display title, artist and more on the head unit. I also have the packaging and all the paperwork included.

Any idea why it doesn't work with a 2003?

 

The early 03, were not sat radio prewired and this runs through that. There are threads on here explaining on how to figure out if you are prewired. IIRC the sat radio connector was around the drivers rear shock tower in the trunk.

 

for the 03-04 models, I heard that it doesn't work with changing the track, only the volume button correct? Also it doesn't charge the ipod correct?

 

I dont ever recall hearing about this issue? It charges everything but the newest iphones and ipods because they changed the charging voltage.

 

Sorry I'm a bit confused - is this installed through the sat hookup in the trunk or did you have to take apart the dash?

 

This comes with 3 parts. A harness that plugs into the SAT connector in the trunk that runs up and under the center console, and the adapter box that the harness plugs into, which i personally mounted in front of the shifter under the ash tray. The final part is the harness that your ipod/phone connects to.

For install you will probably need to remove your center console to make this install easiest.

Which Ipod/Iphone do you have? It wont charge Iphone 3g and newer and 2nd Gen Touch and newer, because Apple changed the charging voltages.

 

you will need scoshe passport to charge iphone 3g and up. I think you are selling this for too much. Got mine shipped to my door for 95.00 in superb condition.
