Eclipse AVN6620 speed pulse question

I hooked my AVN6620 up a bout a week ago and my speed has been off according to the system info and it's causing my maps to not be accurate. Is there a way of adjusting this setting?

Bad speed could be from poor GPS antenna location, or the eclipse may have a speed pulse setting somewhere in the settings - can't say for certain as I haven't used an eclipse stereo in a long time.

The pulse is usually only used to keep the unit on track while you're in a tunnel or otherwise can't get a GPS signal, so again, I'd say it's your GPS antenna that's not getting a solid enough signal, or the unit is still calibrating the speed pulse to the actual speed measured via the GPS signal.

Wrathernaut- When I did a search on here to see where people were mounting their gps antenna, I think it was you that mounted it under the clock panel. Are you getting a good reading there?

Yes - There's metal directly beneath it (radio bracket arm) and no metal above it. I've never tried it in another location to compare, so I can't say if it's the optimal spot by any means, but it's invisible and hasn't gotten me lost yet.

350zspl - there's not much reason to put it on top of the dash, as the plastic/rubber the dash is made of doesn't block GPS signals.
