Help please! Antenna On Roof

Exclamation Help please! Antenna On Roof

Hey guys , what is this antenna on my roof?
I bought the car like this, & I was wondering if
There's way I can go about removing it? It just looks
Tacky. IMO. Thanks guys!

I did some research & looks like clarion xm radio antenna.
But how go about removing it? Is just adhesive? Or bolts.
Dont Want fu anything up.

There are steps you can do to install the XM antenna and in theory you could do the same to remove it. As far as messing anything up only item I can think of is audio but so long as you follow the right steps you should be fine.

I got it off. Just take a blow dryer & heat it up.
And it should come right off. It's just adhesive.
Now I need route it inside next too the Bose rear
Speakers.

On my '04 I took the antenna out of the housing and centered it under the rear deck where the 3rd brake light would be (I have a spoiler so no 3rd brake light). It occasionally cuts out on satellite radio but definitely works well enough to keep it there.

I did the same, relocated it next too the speakers
In rear no reception issues so far. Alot cleaner. & used goo gone for the adhesive.
& did a full Detail w/ turtle wax "black"
