all your coupe stereo answers

We need a damn FAQs for this

0. bose has 8 speakers. front door and rear panels have 6.5", rear deck has 6x9 and tweets are like 3/4 in a OEM bracket.
1. no rca pre out-- no OEM has this. Must use VEN4 or other LOC
2. no actual remote lead off wiring harness. theres a light blue wire that is switched but only turns off when key is removed. everyone is using this wire.
3. trunk is super small. if u pull all the plastic panels and spare, u have about 6 inches in depth. u figure out the cubic feet you need. no way u r gettin 2 12s without using every bit of trunk plus using a fiberglass box.
4. the front doors have about 2.75 inches of depth. It appears to have about 5 inches of space between the cone and the door panel. The door is sealed and is begging for 8" drivers (not for the install timid)
5. power wire can ve run thru stock grommet behind the battery under the wiper cowl. pull the cowl and you'll see it.
6. DVD cannot be played thru stock nav. You have to buy an aftermarket dvd player. instructions how to wire it up are all over the net. go to freshalloy and do a search in the g35 forum.
7. after market head unit can be installed in the the non-nav glove box. pics on this site to prove it, however u lose ALL steering wheel control and stock radio. That is unless u wanna use an RF modulator in pipe in the sound. WHy spend $$$ on a sweet aftermarket and then use a RF mod?
8. thats all i can think of. now maybe this post will get refernced and we'll stop the plethora of encho questions.
