Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD wont play videos from my ipod
My double din (pioneer avh-p4300dvd) wont play videos from my ipod, and it should. It tries to play them, like the song timer starts to count down as if it were playing, but the screen goes black and theres no sound. I have the correct cables and videos from disc work, as well as music from ipod.
any suggestions?

Define "correct cables". You should only have one cable, the real Pioneer one. Are you using:
Cheap copies of the real Pioneer cables from eBay?
A regular iPod 30-pin to USB cable combined with a four-band 3.5mm to RCA Y-cable?
A regular iPod 30-pin to USB cable combined with a four-band 3.5mm to four-band 3.5mm cable?
Basically, if you're using the 3.5mm jack on the iPod at all, it's probably not going to work right.
If you have the official, legit Pioneer cable, you're probably plugged into the wrong RCAs for the unit.
Does audio from the iPod work when playing MP3s?

Yes, audio works when playing MP3's from my Iphone, Ipod video, and Ipod nano.
However I have tried youtube on my phone, videos on my ipod video, and pictures frmo the nano. None of which display on the screen and none of which play audio while "playing"
Yes the IPod video's "TV out" is ON and the Ipod and headunit are both set to NTSC
Go through the manual and follow the video instructions from page 38:

Okay I just got my radio in and confused about which IU200x cable. Do I just plug in the 3.5 to the back of the 4300? What's the purpose of the USB end that's next to the iPod 30 pin connector?
You plug both in the rear for it to work for the iPod.
Data (album art, song database and such) is sent via USB, while the audio/video is sent over the 3.5mm connector.
