by pass factory amp for kenwood 345U deck??

Ok I've done so much reasearch on this and have not found my question. First off I've purchased a kenwood KDC-345U deck and have it installed. I thought I would have got better sound quality out of it rather than the stock HU. Sound and bass are not as good as the factory system. So I was wondering maybe the reason why is because I might have to bypass my factory amp. I thought by having the stock amp and the internal mosfet amp in the kenwood deck would power up the speakers with better bass and sound quality but was wrong. So do I have too by pass the factory amp in order to get the full benefits of the kenwood deck??? Another thing is that on the deck the max volume is 35 and it sounds like **** over the factory system. Any help is good so hope I can get some knowledge from you audio people. THANKS.

Although it's basically opposite of what you did, this post here would have told you why you (usually) can't exactly keep the stock amplifier with an aftermarket headunit. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...-stock-hu.html

Other than amplifying the audio signals coming from the stock HU, the amplifier in the premium system also adds heavy equalization to the output signal going to the speakers.

Because the external amplifier adds the amplification and equalization to the audio signal, the audio signals leaving the stock HU can be treated as a very low voltage preamp signal. By very low voltage I mean that the audio signals as they leave the stock HU and enter the stock amp in the trunk are < 2V.

In addition to the low voltage of the signals leaving the stock HU, the signals are also not your standard type of signal. Unlike conventional single-ended (that's what they are called) signals, the G35 sound system utilizes differential-balanced (that's what they are called) signals. Without going into deep explaination, differential-balanced signals do not connect one side of the audio signal to chassis ground. Because of this, balanced-differential signals often times help to eliminate any voltage sensitivity between one input terminal and ground and greatly reduces the incidence of alternator whine in a typical car audio installation.
So anyway, on to the possible solutions:
Good - Bypass the factory amplifier and use the headunit's internal amplifier to power four of the channels in your car, leaving the others unpowered.
Better - Pick up a PAC ROEM-NIS2 to put in place of the standard harness currently used (metra 70-755x or equivalent).
Best - Replace the factory amplifier with something that isn't a complete piece of manure.
