I been searching all over for mounting hole diameter on image dynamics ctx65 front door speakers. It will be goin on a 2005 coupe btw. Before i order from zenclosure website i need to know which to choose from. There options are 5.00, 5.25, 5.50 and 5.75. Only info i can find on these speakers is the 2.75 mounting depth, idk if thats useful. Anyone with these speakers can help out? Thanks in advance

I can't find the exact dimensions, but I did find somebody's install experience that had a good photo:


By comparing the relative widths and measuring the known mounting diameter, I'm getting about 5.6" (hard to correct for perspective), so it looks like you'll want the 5.75.

I'm pretty sure I used the 5.75" spacer with my smaller BA Pro60se's, and was able to mount it with the included (with speakers) mounting rings anyway, so I'd go that route.

Now if you're doing the CTX65CS, those looks like they might be a little smaller mounting...


If you have a good file handy, go with the 5.25", the MDF can be filed larger quite easily.
