Ive looked furiously across the forums if there is anything out there that lets me plug in an iphone or ipod with out changing the the stock radio I want to keeep my G35 classy. thanks guys

Search for "iPod integration" on the forums. There are several devices.

I have the oem Nissan kit in my car woth the hookup inn the center console. My iPod lives in my center console 24-7. It will play music off my iPhone too...but won't charge it

There's also the modified OEM one.

But seriously, dumping money on something that uses the factory headunit, that's extremely prone to failure is a very bad idea. Upgrade to an aftermarket headunit and get iPod integration that actually is good.
