question about PAC SWCI location

Does the Pac Steering Wheel control lose its programming if power is removed (like changing the battery)? If so, where is a good place to locate it so that the dash doesn't have to come apart to re-program it? I'm thinking about under the console. That isn't too big a deal to pull.

Thoughts?

No, it doesn't lose its programming when it loses power.

Yeah I don't know how many times I have killed the power to my car and it stays programmed everytime.
