and is it ok to hide the bluetooth module somewhere under the console maybe? i will put the gps antenna on the dash, but i was wanting to hide the bulky bluetooth module if possible. thanks

lol, i couldnt agree more, i haven't backed into anything in my 14 years of driving either, but its just so cool looking with a rearview on the screen! lol

so, got the plastic trim piece cut to size so no more gap, now im just waiting on the wiring kit, antenna adapter, and steering wheel controls adapter to come in the mail. will the mounting sleeve that came with the HU work, or do i have to use the stock sleeve?

I don't think you'll need that at all. The factory bracket should hold it just fine.

However, if there's an external trim ring that snaps onto that sleeve, you'll probably have to use it, just to make it look right.

the trim ring actually snaps to the HU itself, not the sleeve, so i should be good to go, thanks man

Just ordered an hce-c107d camera.

Wrath, did I read somewhere that you have mounted the gps antenna near the clock and it has worked ok there? Thanks

It's mounted on the bracket that screws in beneath the radio, just below the screw. It's worked fine, but since it's not perfectly flat or on a completely flat piece of metal, there is room for improvement.

all bolted into the stock bracket and almost ready to go in. the only semi tough thing left to do is route the camera cables and mount the camera.

Nice work!

I just got the INA-W910 that I will be installing my in 06 coupe.

Where did you get the JDM Trim/AC Controller? I ordered mine from Grubbs almost 2 months ago...
