recently just bought an 03 g35 with the upgraded bose sound system. i listen to my ipod alot so i went and bought an isimple tranzit. ive removed the head unit and put the isimple in place but my problem is im not very good a reading wire diagrams and i oopsed and took apart one of the connectors so now its just individual wires i just need to know which diagram to look at where the ground and power go on the isimple. the connector i took apart was the bigger of the two that connect to black ports in the back of the head unit




ps im still learning audio but im not completely ignorant

 

my guess, if its like the 04 coupe with bose is connect the powe to the red (switched power) which is the ignition switch wire.
screw the ground in somewhere to the chassis.

not sure what you mean, but if you are just wondering how to tap into the right wire. there is a red wire on the biggest and widest of the 4 harnesses. that is your switched power (i am 99% sure). strip it back a little and solder on your new power wire from your device and then tape it back up. and the ground. i found a screw below the stereo hole that i believe is ground to the chassis and i just threw the ground in that screw

 

thx for tht info only thing is on the big harness it actually came apart so the wire are no longer in the harness so what im looking for is actually a picture of wich way the wires goi guess

i honestly have no idea how i did i have these diagrams but wich one am i looking at the harness i took apart was the biggest one out of the four and it plugs in to the big black port

thanks for that mate unfortunately the 1 is right over the wires i need >.< so im just going to order a new harness and soder the old wires to it... tho i went to an audio store and they told me they were gonna charge me 75 for a reverse harness to trace all the wires and then do it that way told them to have a nice day
