any suggestions on what kind of black paint to spray on the double din.
or should i just sand away the titanium color.

Don't sand it! You can try to paint it matte black to match the rest of the dash. There is a matte black finish doubleDIn dash available from NIssan Japan.
I would truthfully wait and get the right black matter color dash piece rather than try to modify the titanium colored piece but I completely understand your need for instant gratification. ( i would too! lol)
The part is only $60......if that doesnt matter to you, go ahead and try spray painting it with smooth LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT airbrush layering so that there is no ugly paint wrinkles or droplets. Matching the matte black color is whole lot easier than having to do the reverse and try to match the titanium color.
Good luck and let us know what you choose to do......lol

I just want to know that with all the info here in this forum that you didn't get the right dash? I don't mean to be rude... but I would cancel the appointment and get the exact match for your car... if you could spray paint it and it looks good then go ahead.. I don't know but for me if I'm gonna put somethin in my G, I want to do it right... good luck and let us know how it went...
