Need advise on buying a indash

Hey I'm looking to buy a indash for my car and my friend was telling me that there is a unit out there that let's you store your CDs and IPod music on there instead of constantly putting and takeing CDs out it allows you to store music on there.
Anyone know what company makes this?

No company makes them anymore, simply because an iPod does better than anything they could hope for. Just buy a second old "classic" one, dump music on it, and leave it in the car.

There are older hard-drive equipped units (Pioneer AVIC-Z series), but they don't hold much, are hard to come by in good shape, and aren't near as good at doing your music as a $250 Pioneer AVH-2300 and a used $100 iPod.
