FS: JL 10W7 In custom suede box tuned to JL specs

Yeah, not to throw your thread off topic, but 160 is insanely loud. Like blurred vision and loss of breath loud. Most people don't realize what it takes to really hit those numbers. I did custom car audio professionally for about 5 years and only saw a handful of vehicles hit a true 160...and those systems are NUTS. Talking multiple massive subs, thousands of watts, uprgraded electrical systems, and 100's of lbs of sound dampening. I also have seen many people "think" they were hitting high numbers and go to find out they were holding the mic in the port of the box and/or using a crummy db meter. Granted, the w7 is an AWESOME sub, but in all reality, you're probably hitting 145-ish tops the way it stands...which is still extremely impressive for a single 10.

My boy got readings mixed as I did mention when we were measuring in his G that my comp car that had (6) 12's read 160 at competition. Both his and my 10W7 maxed my Casella Digital Meter (not a costcutter) at 130 both measured near center console shoulder high. Though different amps & sealed/Ported but 130+ none the less. Time to acquire one with more pep
