Sirius Satellite Receiver question

Hi,
A newbie to this forum, I would like to know if anyone knows whether an aftermarket Sirius receiver such as a Pioneer or Clarion can be retrofitted on an 04 G35 Sedan. I have a SAT button so I assume my car is pre-wired. If so I would like to know the following.
1) Where the receiver gets mounted.
2) Where the cable terminates (located) on the receiver side.
3) If pre-wired is the cable already connected to the factory HU.
Has abyone out there done this mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
G35inLV

No. You need to buy the Infiniti part if you want the radio to fully integrate a sat tuner.

The radio is made by Clarion. So the only hope is that it would be a modified version of CeNet. Jaak over in the Murano forums has analyzed the protocols and I beleived he determined that they don't even speak at the same baud rate. So it would require a protocol converter. I'm not aware of anything other than the PAC audio adapter and the Phatbox that can "speak" Nissan SAT tuner.

Here's more information

The prewire should be in your trunk.

Dear message boards,
I am trying to decide between XM and sirius, and I wanted opinions: Do you think both will be around for another 6 years? I'm planning on keeping my new G35 for at least that long. Also, has anyone found a place to get a cheaper OEM receiver than Grubbs?

Thanks,
Jason
