USB/iPod Install - "turn on XM1 & XM2"
So, I have been trying to install a Grom adapter that allows for an iPod connection through XM1 and a USB and Headphone jack through XM2. However, I needed a firmware update, that I tried to apply through the USB port. When I did the update (I accidentally used the 2007 update instead of the 2011 update) the XM1 and XM2 stations went away. In other words, when I go through the modes, I see CD, FM1, FM2, AM but XM1 and XM2 do not come up. How do I get these options to reappear?
Thanks for any help!
Thanks for any help!
I think you can log on to www.gromaudio.com and d/l the correct firmware for your car. You would have to delete the firmware file on the current USB flash drive you are using and replace it with the correct file. Hope this helps. I just installed my Grom adapter today.
