Some basic audio questions.

I'm a super noob at audio. I'm looking for a new job, so I'm not really looking to spend a lot of money right now. But I NEED my bass. Right now I have a terrible Boss amp, two 12" fosgates in a ported box. But my friend just made himself a sub box and now I want to make my own so I don't spend as much as just buying a new box.

My questions are:

Since I have two subs, should I try a isobaric box? Or suggest me a type of box to make please.

What gauge wire should I buy? Like the lowest one I could use without needing the big three setup.

I want to do all this so I'll have a little more bass, and when I start buying more audio equipment, all I have to do is take out the old stuff in the trunk and put in the new.

An isobaric configuration will allow you to build a box half the size that you would need for a single sub. The drawback, however, is you will need twice the power. The output of isobaric subs should be similar to the performance of 1 sub in the full size box.

So I may as well go with one sub box.

Does anyone know where I can find this thread that was talking about where to route the wires? I've searched and can't find it. It was a thread showing pictures of where to feed wires from the battery to the trunk and amp.
