Angry sirius Radio Installed but not working Help!!!

I went ahead and installed the tuner unit and the antenna, I turn it on, and it display the message call 1-800-XXXX to activate. The problem is that it won't let me turn to channel 184, in fact when I try to tune into any channel it automatically goes back to Channel 000, any suggestions, help, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. I called Sirius and had them try to activate the system again and it worked. I still do not know what caused the problem, but it works great now. Hope this helps.

So you didn't have to have it tuned to Channel 184 in order to activate the system?

No. It just started working. I used the scan button to tune to channels and it worked fine.

Channel 184 is simply there so you can hear something when it isn't activated yet.
