So does this hook up in the trunk, or the back of the radio? Does it replace an existing harness? Thanks!

 

This hooks up in the back of the radio. I thought it would be tough to tackle, but after using the "Installing double din" guide, it wasn't so bad at all. I think my first time took me about 30 min to remove it everything and access the back harnesses on the radio.

No existing harness is replaced. You basically connect the PAC AAI-NIS inline with the factory harness. You don't even need to splice in power/ground connections.

 

I heard some people complain the sound output of the PAC unit being very low, is that true?

 

too bad I can't keep my satellite with this setup. I just got my ipod about a month ago, so it's not like I've been using my satellite lately, but I'm sure I'll regret it if I get rid of it.

 

I've heard opposite. Saying it sounds the best and crystal clear. I could be mistaken though. I'm waiting to put mine in.

does the pac unit work with all mp3 players? so its not just ipods, i mean like would it work with dell or creative players??

there was a guy on this forum who was a distributor of the pac units, since the change in the forum i dont remember his name and i havent seen him post lately..
