ok guys im a complete newb when it comes to car audio, i honestly dont understand anything about it... however ive only spent about an hour in my car already (04 coupe 6mt) and i already hate the bose system. btw my maximum budjet will be somewhere around 5 or 600.

so first off i want to replace my door 6.5's probably with components. i will be buying everything from best buy and most likely having them do the install. i was looking at alpine SPS-610 and also polk DXi6500. what do you guys think?

secondly i dont care about replacing the rear 6.5's and dont want to take up trunk space with subs... soooo what would anybody recomend for rear 6x9's that will handle bass well? this is where im really stumped. i wont be buying an amp there if i need one i have a few sitting in the garage. so what would have the best bass potential for the rear?

also i dont plan on upgrading my headunit until early next year so ill be dealing with this one for now (eventhough it barely works correctly half the time)

my advice would be get kappa's front and rear deck. and make sure you get a Line out converter (LOC) to put between your speakers and the Bose stereo because the bose has a different signal that most stereo's.

i personally love my kappa's, i got them both for 200 total off ebay/amazon. and they have decent bass (granted i ran them off a heavy hitting 4 channel amp).

Thanks for the info bro. Turns out after I wrote that I went outside in the G (that's been out of commission since I bought it waiting for coil packs to come in the mail) and my cd changer doesn't work and my tape adapter for my iPod plays but extremely low with buzzing sound. So all I have to play is the radio which really sucks out here. Unfortunately now I'm gonna have to go dd shopping cause I really can't listen to this crappy radio.

may sound crazy but my step father wants me to go with him to best buy to pick out speakers for his truck and in return he is letting put some things on his best buy card if i pay it off in 3 years lol so right now its either one or the other and i really cant see myself listening to this retarded ct radio for that long.

so my guess is to sell my beltronics v8 that i made the owner give me when i bought the car and get the jdm dd kit. i have some hookups with management at best buy so i can just have them hook everything up
