So I have an 04 w/ Bose system. My stock unit kept cutting out or I would have to bang on it to get it playing. So I recently replaced it with a Kenwood DNX5160 isms it would play just fine. For about two weeks now the deck turns on, charges my iPhone, the navi work but I'm getting no audio sound. I've checked all my fuses and the wiring about three times and can't figure anything out. I have the correct adapters from metra that I bought from a local audio store. I'm also running the deck through stock speakers & amp.

 

I'd check with kenwood on this one, if it worked fine and stopped.

If it never produced much sound, you probably have the wrong adapter, since metra doesn't make the PAC OEM-NIS2, which is required to actually get decent audio out of the Bose amplifier in most vehicles.
