pac steering wheel control question

pac steering wheel control question

so i just put in a pioneer avh p4300 dvd dd unit
now for the steering wheel control the guy at my local stereo shop sold me the pac swi-rc he was out of the pac swi -ps he assured me it would work has anyone used this adapter at all

The AVH-P4300 isn't listed on the compatibility list, but it'll probably work, as the list looks old, and includes radios that the SWI-PS works with.

It should work nearly identically to the SWI-PS, it wires up the same, but you program it to mode 7, instead of mode 3. Otherwise it programs the same as the SWI-PS.

Not a specific one, no.

And here's how you connect the two:


You'll need to wire up the power and ground wires for the PAC SWI as well, but other than that, that covers it.
