Cutting 04 Dash kit for easy access
so for anyone who has an 04 coupe and possibly 03's, or sedans, taking out the dash kit is very difficult. you have to pretty much take apart the front of your car. has anyone attempted cutting the two top parts of the kit where the vents are attached? like just gluing them in place? this way the only thing you ahve to do to take out the kit, is pop open the center shift console, and lift the clock panel. 3 screws and your done.
It shouldn't be something you need to do more than 1-2 times, the same amount you would need to do to get something like that done, so I don't see much reason to irreversibly modify the interior.

ah i guess you guys are right. the first time i did it, i was sitting in my car because i wanted to get it done before i drove home the next day after classes. and i couldnt open the doors becasue there was a huge snowstorm, and i couldnt undo the negative on the battery because i coudlnt go outside so i couldnt unplug everything :/
i was just wondering because i am getting ready to throw in a DD , and CF wrap it, but i guess il just wait till i can afford the DD to do the Wrap and get it all at once
