The thing I like about JL is that they SAY they push out the full 150x2 from 1.5-4 ohms AND from 11-14.5V. This is important because some other brands can say 150x2 rated at 14.5V, but our cars are rarely running at 14.5V because of every other electronic part that is taking up some energy as well. My car runs at a constant 12V pretty much..

I recommend doing the trunk as well, it's just as important as the doors.
Hey man - got any pics of how you deadened your doors? Specifically, where you placed the CLD tiles? I just bought 10.

I don't have photos, but you just have to put it on the inside of the outer door skin the inner door skin, and the metal door panel that bolts in. exact placement isn't critical, but cutting them will be required to get in some places. I used some sheet metal shears to do the job.

you don't need to use all 10 tiles. 2-3 per door would be ideal.

Cool.

Will those ID components fit in the stock housing? The Infinity speakers clearly need adapter brackets - is there any way to determine this?

a few remaining questions:

1) explain to me the pitfalls of leaving my infinity 6030cs tweeter and crossover, and simply installing the ID CX-62 midbass driver and connecting it to the existing crossover.

2) i assume since its 2ohm, my existing stock speaker wiring can handle the amp and ID speaker. right or wrong?
